Muse score 16 global Number Ones with 'The Resistance'

Muse's have scored 16 Number Ones across the globe following the release of new album 'The Resistance'. The band have topped the charts as far afield as Australia, Korea, Mexico, Switzerland, New Zealand and at at home in the UK, where they clocked up the biggest first week's sales of the year so far. The album is Number Three in the US. The group who embark on a UK arena tour with The Pig Pink in November, have also announced they will be releasing more tickets to the previously sold-out shows after production changes freed up more space. The new tickets will go on sale on Friday (September 25). The dates are: Sheffield Arena (November 4) Liverpool Echo Arena (5) Glasgow SECC (9) Birmingham NIA (10) London 02 Arena (12, 13) Number One in the following countries with 'The Resistance': Australia Austria Belgium Canada Denmark France Germany Holland Ireland Italy Korea Mexico Norway New Zealand Switzerland UK
