Muse Tracklisting Details

Muse are due to release 'The Resistance' on September 14th. Full tracklisting is as follows: 'Uprising' 'Resistance' 'Undisclosed Desires' 'United States Of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage)' 'Guiding Light' 'Unnatural Selection' 'MK Ultra' 'I Belong To You (+Mon Coeur S'Ouvre A Ta Voix)' 'Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture)' 'Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross Pollination)' 'Exogenesis Part III (Redemption)' Globe trotting, blue-haired wailers Muse have confirmed the tracklisting for their forthcoming album 'The Resistance'. Muse have come a long way. When the trio first set foot outside their native Teignmouth, fans were struck by their enormous sound and singer Matt Bellamy's soaring voice. Indebted to Radiohead, for sure, yet debut album 'Showbiz' hinted at what they would become. With their songwriting talents rapidly evolving, the band embarked on a prog-inspired odyssey. Live, Muse are simply incendiary with their widescreen rock tailor made for enormous outdoor shows. The band released their previous album 'Black Holes And Revelations' in 2006, to enormous critical and commercial success. Establishing Muse as rock giants in their own right, the group celebrated the album with a massive tour. Culminating in an awe inspiring Wembley show, Muse played to more fans on that tour than at any point in their career to date. Recording the Wembley shows for posterity, Muse released a behind the scenes concert documentary soon after. Taking time off, the band later retreated to Italy to work on new material. Rumours soon emerged of a radical new direction, with Muse keen to tease fans in interviews. Singer Matt Bellamy revealed that the group were working on a new orchestral direction, claiming to be inspired by composers such as Wager. Earlier this year Muse confirmed they had completed their new album. Revealing details via Twitter, the band revealed to fans that their forthcoming studio album would be titled 'The Resistance' and is set for release on September 14th. In preparation for the release, Muse will play a seven date tour of the UK and Ireland. The band are set to travel the country before performing two massive shows at the O2 Arena in London. Now the band have released more details about their soon to be released album. Containing eleven tracks the album boasts a three part symphony under the title 'Exogenesis'.
