Sounds like the gig at Wembley may have been a bit of a let down! Madonna's Wembley Stadium concert has come under criticism from fans, who were disappointed by technical difficulties at the event. Many fans who attended last night's show (September 12) have been venting their frustration online and on radio stations, complaining about poor sound quality as they could not hear the Queen of Pop clearly. Madonna also didn't arrive on stage until 40 minutes later than planned, which caused problems with some fans getting rail connections back into central London. Quote from fan Six of us went to see Madonna at Wembley last night. The show was fantastic with great effects, lighting and dancing. Madonna is an A1 performer - what we could see of her that is! The venue was appalling, far too big to provide any atmosphere and the sound was awful. The worst bit was being left stranded in Wembley with 1000's of others after they closed the train station - a big thanks to Madonna for her considerate 40 minute late arrival on stage....
