Kylie Minogue is reportedly being lined up to host the Brit Awards next year.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the Aussie popstar is close to agreeing a deal which will see her fronting the ceremony alongside Gavin & Stacey stars Mathew Horne and James Corden.
"Kylie's been in lengthy talks with organisers of the 2009 show and the last-minute details are being finalised," an insider told the newspaper. "She's the icing on the cake of what promises to be the best show ever.
"The Pet Shop Boys are getting a lifetime achievement award and there are going to be lots of surprises."
The event will take place on February 18 at London's Earls Court.
