Guillemots headlined the Virgin Mobile Arena at the
Virgin Mobile V Festival 2008.
The music, including recent single 'Get Over It' flutters around us like the crows out of Hitchcock's The Birds, sounds that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. These guys clearly are a bunch of genius musicians, with everybody swapping places like there's no tomorrow. Plus, we thought it might be worth mentioning that they have something that looks very much like a wooden grandfather rocking chair as their keyboard seating arrangement. Nope, we have no idea either, but at least it gives that stage a nice homely feel.
What a wonderful end to a brilliant weekend. And don't forget, if you have now been reigned in by the Guillemots, you can catch them on tour with REM around the UK this summer, too.
