Like a slow moving force of nature, the world slowly turns and brings about another Enya album. One that is destined to sell millions, yet be admitted to by no-one. This advance single from the forthcoming "And Winter Came" album got its exclusive first play on the Terry Wogan radio show, which pretty much sums up its appeal.
It's one of those songs that you don't really notice playing, despite the odd declamation that Enya seems to be making amid some curious vocal patterns. And as if the title wasn't calculating enough at this time of year, they even sneak in the refrain from Agnus Dei. Crafty Christians!
With sixty million or so sales under her shawl, this will be an essential purchase for the many, many people who worship at her altar. However, despite a history of vaguely smutty thoughts, underpinned by Catholic guilt, I still seem to be immune to the magic.

This is a good choice for a single from Enya's seventh studio album And Winter Came. But what on earth is the point in releasing a one-track CD single. It's not even different to the version on the album. It's lazy on the part of the record company and reperesnts poor value for money. If the point is to get everyone to download the track instead (bearing in mind not everyone has a computer, the quality isn't as good and you don't get the artwork) then why bother releasing it at all just to sell a handful of copies. They could at least have included another album track or one from earlier in her career. I'm afraid I'll only be buying just the one copy as opposed to several. What's the point?

I really love Enya`s music and always will,The one track is great but why why why do they put out a cd single with only one track, play time 3min 45sec
Even with the old 7" vinyl you had a B side to listen to.

This is Enya, pure and simple. This song, as well at the album And Winter Came follows her continued richness of music. It is simplistic, yet deeply complex in its listening potential. And Winter Came is closer in style to her earlier works, is deeply enjoyable, and soothing to the soul.

Trains and Winter Rains
I assumed that this would be a compilation of some other Enya Music, not just the one song, so I was disappointed, however, the service from the seller was good and no complaints about the condition, or packaging.
