This is a great new CD from Eminem, it's kind of halfway between a mixtape and an album. The best tracks are 'The Re-Up,' 'Jimmy Crack Corn,' 'Cry Now Remix' and 'No Apologies.' Em sounds doper than ever and the whole Shady family is on top form. Cashis and Bobby Creekwater are both excellent MCs and add to the vibrancy of the Shady label. Cop the Re-Up!

I think this is great. People seem to be critisising em, but it isn't really his album anyway. This is to promote cashis and bobby creek, both of whom i think are great. Also i hadn't really heard much of stat quo so this enabled me to see more of his work. I think most songs are really good and i love the beats. Pistol Pistol Remix, Murder and The Re Up are the best songs.
I don't usually like bizarre, i find him a bit boring, but his appearence on murder is great.
I think this is immense!

That's pretty weak... same souless, heartless, dull beats end endless gangsta lyrics, devoid of any real worldplay, flow, skill and most of all fun. Theres a good beat on Stat Quo - Get Low, though he ain't really an outstanding mc. Eminem should stay in retirement and take his cronies with him. If you want Eminem get Infinite, Slimshady LP or Encore, if you want 50 cop the mixtapes, if you want Obi Trice cop the albums, don't waste your time on this...
ah ski mask way's alright still....

What can I say I have been a long time fan of eminem I thought his work was probably the best in the Rap industry and his producing on shady records to be pretty good as well.

Upon further review, I have concluded with the fine help of this album the 'RE-UP' that he just hasn't got that magic he used to have anymore. The work on this album from Slim shady is quite simply boring and dull with nothing standing out on this album at all. By far slims greatest work is the Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP and he will never top those albums, everything following just seems to get worse.

Avoid.

Well Shady's back but this new "mixtape" effort is a bit of a let down.

Eminem still shows he is *possibly* the best rapper in terms of flow and lyrical dexterity and his verses still shine over all artists. He's responsible for the majority of production on the album and some of the beats are inspired (Track - The Re-Up stands out).

50 Cent spits one of the best verses in his career (not too difficult) over the single You Don't Know but is Eminem murders him on the track Re-Up.

Stat Quo shines and I can't wait for Statlanta to be released and Obie Trice is on awesome form (I agree with other listeners comments about his album being one of the better hip hop albums in 2006).

Ca$his & Bobby Creekwater just don't seem to interest me which is supposed to be the point of this release and therefore makes the whole thing seem a little, well, pointless. Hopefully I'm wrong and we'll hear better stuff from them in the future.

Overall the album is enjoyable enough and definately not the worst put together compilation I've heard but it lacks the killer edge it needs to be competing with the other 4th QTR releases.

[...]

***Keep a special eye out for Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead because the leaked tracks I've heard so far are breathtaking.
