May I just say that the first three tracks on here are out of place and belong on the Memphis Sessions FTD release really. The 70's 'jive' doesn't sit well with the fabulous Memphis Sessions release.
Home tapes are probably the most interesting tracks on here although that's home with a capital 'H'. I'm not complaing though as it is historically interesting. Elvis even makes us laugh with a short but humourous poem!
Liner notes are interesting but you would need a microscope to read them and the digi pak is poor considering that the FTD releases are not cheap!!Hence thet 3 stars.

simply the best f.t.d. cd released so-far!(apart from the jungle room sessions)elvis 69 outtakes are very good to have officially and to have more takes from the stax studio sessions simply are too good to be true!,also, the informal recording at Linda Thompson's home in 1973 are a real treat for any Elvis fan.Even though most collectors will more than likely own all or most of these tracks on bootleg cd's,nevertheless to own these excellant tracks on an offical album and in excellant sound is well worth the £15.99 for the cd alone!!..even the front cover and pics of elvis are serpurb to look at..10 out 10.
..An album no elvis can be without.
