Baby Balloon can't get to sleep, so he wanders into his parents' bedroom to get in bed with them. Only problem is, there's not enough room for him to squeeze in between them.
So he goes round to Daddy Balloon's side of the bed, undoes his knot and lets a little bit of air out. No good though; he still can't get in.
He then goes round to Mummy Balloon's side of the bed, undoes her knot and lets a little bit of air out. No good either; he still can't squeeze in between them.
So he undoes his own knot and lets a bit of air out, and finally manages to snuggle into the middle of the bed.
Soon, Daddy Balloon wakes up, and he's not happy. Waking Mummy and Baby Balloon up, he proceeds to bol**ck the youngster:
"I've told you about this, son. You've got to sleep in your own bed. You're a big boy now. You promised us it wouldn't happen any more. You PROMISED us! You know what bothers me the most?........."
... wait for it.....!!
"..... It's the fact that you've let me down, you've let your mum down and worst of all, you've let yourself down."

(770 views)One of my favourite albums is "My Aim is True". Apart from the punchy beat what delights me most is the intricate lyrics and how they fit in with the sound. What about this from "Miracle Man":
"Baby's gotta have the things she wants.
You know she's gotta have the things she loves.
She's got a ten-inch bamboo cigarette holder
and her black patent leather gloves"
The unfortunate subject of "No Dancing" has his boastfulness and deceit summed up by:
"Now he's telling her
Every little thing he's done
Once he glanced at the jackets of some paperbacks
Now he's read every one"
In "Alison" her former lover expresses his jealousy:
"I'm not going to get too sentimental
like those other sticky valentines,
'cause I don't know if you've been loving some body.
I only know it isn't mine."
His character in "The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes" finds happiness still eludes him despite what seems a great deal with the supernatural:
"But when they told me 'bout their side of the bargain,
that's when I knew that I could not refuse.
And I won't get any older, now the angels wanna wear my red shoes."
