Another collection I hear you shout. And yes you're right, but its the first in a series of themed releases being put together by the man himself. 30 yrs into a brilliant musical career full of barbed, insightful songwriting isn't he entitled to have his say. Mr Costello is true literary genius of the era, who along with Weller & Dury not only documented a time full of change but also laid bare the emotions of a generation, capturing the feelings and thoughts of what it was to be a teenager in the late 70s.

Come on you can't really complain. For six quid you get a nicely put together digipack, accompanying lyric/picture booklet, and some of the best songs of the last 30 yrs chosen by EC himself.

I'm waiting on the next in the series, long may his pen be filled with ink and the nib pointed.
