Absolute Radio: Discover real music

It's one of those songs I just seem unable to get sick of - have been listening to it for nearly 30 years now, and there are so many different bits to enjoy. Nope, it can't get overplayed in my book!

Mind you, it'd be nice for some of the other ELO singles to get an airing more often - they had 27 Top 40 hits in total, most of which were excellent!

I agree, can't get sick of that one! Reminds me of the day I moved house last year. Pulled up outside my dream house in the blazing sun with Mr Blue Sky blearing, and can honestly say I was just about as happy as its possible to be! Not that all the other ELO songs aren't great, cos they are. But Mr Blue Sky is special!

i never tire of Mr Blue Sky! I do wish we did hear more more ELO on VR - maybe the those at the top could sneak in a few more per day?

Mr Blue Sky is awesome - I work in a record store, and whenever we stick on the ELO greatest hits it goes down a treat, for staff and custies alike. That Jeff Lynne knows how to craft a tune!! Evil Woman is a great song as well, VR should play that too!!!

Hell yeah!! Never get sick of Mr Blue Sky! Wish they'd play more ELO like Evil Woman, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Livin' Thing (It's a livin' thing doodle doodle doodle dooooo!!), Wild West Hero, Turn To Stone, Last Train To London (even Xanadu - purely as a party classic) - BRING 'EM ALL ON BABY!!!

Wow... i wasn't expecting so much support for the song... i thought i was going to get criticised for wanting to listen to it now the sun was on its way... it's so nice to know im not alone in never getting sick of it!!
