For those of you who don't know: Elbow are a spine-tingling-ly beautiful melancholic Mancunian band; look at reviews of their two albums if you want to read more about them. For Elbow fans: this double-side single contains an edit of Grace Under Pressure, Switching Off, the non-album Waving from Windows, an acoustic Radio 2 session of Not a Job, and Grace Under Pressure recorded live at Glastobury 2004.The first track seems a bit needless as a superior version is available on Cast of Thousands; but new song Waving from Windows is another lovely slice of classic Elbow, the acoustic version of Not a Job is simply wonderful, and the live version of Grace has Guy doing a great job again of whipping up the crowd for the marvellous, "We still believe in love, so fuck you" line. Definitely worth a buy, more so than some of Elbow's other slightly lacking single releases.
