Quoting: warby Coldplay and Adele are among the acts performing at next year's MusiCares person of the year gala to honour Neil Diamond. Foo Fighters, Jennifer Hudson, Josh Groban, Tim McGraw and Raul Malo will also appear at the event, which takes place on February 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Centre. Each act is expected to cover a Diamond song. The ceremony, to take place over the two nights before the Grammys, will pay tribute to Diamond's music and charity work. He recently donated funds to the Hurricane Ike relief cause in Texas. Diamond's hits include 'Sweet Caroline', 'Solitary Man' and 'Forever In Blue Jeans'. Last summer he performed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
