My expectations of this album were not very good. Following that hilarious haircut and that outrageous performace at the VMAs, i really thought this album would be crap. But to my surprise, the album was good. Filled with heavily-produced dance tracks and Britney's sultry vocals, this album is a must-have for any Britney fan. But here comes the not-so-good aspects about the album. Firsty, it is evident that Britney is losing her voice, and therfore has turned to using special microphones, giving that 'T-Pain-esque' effect. This may sound good, but after listening to the twelve tracks, you can't help but feel letdown. Another bad thing about this is (predictably) the lyrics. Even though Britney isn't world-renowned for her 'amazing' lyrics, she could have put more effort into writing the songs. Apart from that, a dance-fuelled album with sexy lyrics, pulsating beats. Enjoy!

Takes the kind of stuff that Timbaland etc. are doing at moment but does it a lot better. Futuristic, innovative and fun, it's just a great CD. Danja tracks are awesome.

I was a bit dubious about getting this album as obviously Britney has been in the press recently more for her personal life than her music, and thought perhaps this album would have suffered. However, I've been pleasantly surprised!

It took a couple of listens to get into some of the songs as some do sound quite similar, mainly due to the way they're produced. But it's definitely grown on me. 'Gimme More' is definitely a dancey kind of tune, great for a night out on the town. 'Piece of Me' is obviously a 'two fingers up' to the press and the public who have been criticising her and her behaviour over the past couple of years. This is also a great track.

On the whole, this isn't a bad album. It could have been much worse, and when you look back at the sickly sweet first Britney album, things have changed big time, but then so do people's tastes. At the time, I liked the first one, right now, I quite like this one, too.

Fans will buy this regardless, but if you've liked some of Britney's songs, then you could do worse than buy this album. Or just buy some of the better tracks separately.

Britney has had a real hard time lately but she's still at her best with music!

The stand out tracks are...All of them! there is not one song i don't like

Gimme More - Not the best song on the album but still a great catchy song that starts of the CD very well
9/10

Britney spears hasnt let her fans down with this album though this album isnt as good as her past albums. For instance oops i did it again, Britney and in the zone are way more well produced but i luv Britney no matter what. Too bad she might not do a tour for the blackout album. I hope she gets back to her normal self and proves everyone that shes back for good. My favourite tracks on this album are gimmie more and piece of me. I love u Britney !
