Britney seems to be on a quest for artistic recognition of late. And by hiring the services of the trendiest producers on earth - The Neptues (NERD) - she is doing her cause no harm. A slinky RnB track with an almost whispered chorus, Im a slave... makes a refreshing difference from her early high school prom bubblegum pop.

I've never actively minded any of Britney's songs, but this one really impressed me when I saw it. Sure, there's a little too much overt sexuality - we think Britney may have to abandon that "virgin" card sometime soon - but it's a good tune with a fantastic rhythm and you know it'll go straight to the top of the charts. Everyone I know has been seriously impressed by the song - even confirmed Britney-haters have been converted - which serves as a warning as to just how different it is from her usual style. Nevertheless it's the best we've heard from her so far...can't help wondering if she's got more of this in store!

when i first heard the song i just kind of dislike it. It just tells me that briney can't really sing well. She's out of good songs to sing too. The song is totally not about her and that also means that it shouldn't be on her selftitled album. Trying to be different just like Mandy Moore and her Arabic style, Britney just couldn't do it.The song is quite lame and pretty boring when you hear it about just three to five times. My advice you can buy but just throw it away after you done listening to it. I gotta tell ya, in your dreams sometimes you'll feel regret buying the single.

This song is the best to be made by Britney yet. It sees a change in Britney's direction, and its definitely a good one.Taken from Britney's new album, titled "Britney" it sees her turn hip hop on us, and this is a welcome change. The subtle "can't get, can't get, oh" will be around in your head forever and the exceptional beat will have you listening over and over again. This is no "Oops...I did it again" or a "Baby One more time" infact it sounds nothing like anything Britney has done before. But it has Britney written all over it, and you can sure tell its her. Her distintive vocals shine on this record, and this will surely gain her to the rightful place of number one. Move over, Christina, Jessica, Mandy, Billie and co, because the princess of pop is back. Enter Britney.....
