RANT

Hi - I am amazed that Bon Jovi can get away with charging 200 quid a ticket for the same seats I sat in at Metallica ! Is this their last tour are they shafting us fans ? I know I will get slagged for this message but hey ho they are ripping off the people that actually got them where thay are today.

as i said on another blog, a lot of it is the o2 trying to reap back the massive losses from cancelling the Michael Jackson concerts......its not all down to Bon Jovi.......

That "song of the decade" commercial is getting on my nerves. I turn off the radio for about 15 seconds every time I hear it. "What's your song of the decaaad?". grrrr....please for my sanity please stop playing that!!

Tickets range from 40 up to upwards of a grand for the 'best seats'...alot of it is how much the promoters and venues can get away with charging for the tickets. If I remember rightly the tickets were about 50 for Twickers...

My tickets for twickers were £90 each, for the O2 we have paid £75, but then there is the credit card fee of £9.25 PER TICKET - I think that is a joke! I haven't been to the O2 before, and I don't think the band set the ticket prices, it will be the venue and the tour promotes. They are the ones we should be angry with, not the band.

you will find tho that the higher price tickets at £500+ all come with some sort of package, ie boat trip, or party before and after etc, that is what you are paying for - and that it o2 charging it not the band. Have been to the o2 several times and its a good venue (unless you smoke!!) - but they are deffo trying to recoup all the losses from the michael jackson canellations.

@bluejax. Its only the Bon Jovi dates that they are asking for up to £200 a ticket

@kimsy....they always do it for the 'bigger bands' - I saw the rolling stones a year back and they did same thing, ditto madonna, and they parcel it all up with packages to charge even more......tickets for stones were £150 for lower tier, dunno what the front ones were tho.....
