So great to hear a new sound from a great artist, the mellow sound of the strings and band, makes me feel like i was back in the 40s- 50s, but still with the robust sound of the man himself, the lyrics so profound, its a wow. thanks Billy.

Billy Joel's first new song with lyrics since 1993 is OK....but it's really no more than an affectionate pastiche of 1940's crooners. The lyrics are, er, a bit embarassing and far too self-aware but production wise it's lush and immaculate....some brush work from Liberty de Vitto would have lifted this above the mundane 100 fold.
