I had known of this release for years but never took the plunge till this "best buy" version. Its Billy Idol stripped down and raw. Gone are the drum machines etc. You get to hear how the songs probably sounded on the demo tape before all the studio gimmickry was added.

I found it to be very enjoyable and listen to this more often than the original versions of the songs. They have more energy and rock `n' roll than the LP versions. It makes me feel that Billy Idol proves he was more than parody of a rock star but was very capable of writing some great pop/rock songs and performs them exceptionally well live.

The track listing is very similar to a greatest hits album with one or two Generation X songs thrown in. Highly recommended to Idol fans and to anyone who always thought that Billy was just a joke! Personally I think this proves his doubters wrong.

Oh! And there's a DVD of the show too! I do wonder how he still looks the same age as he did some twenty years ago, must have forgotten his punk roots, and gone for a bit or maybe extensive plastic surgery?
