The ideal Christmas gift for the person you most least like! An album to prove with no uncertainty that Punk Rockers certainly do get very old (and tired). Whatever was he thinking? I could cry just thinking about how desperate poor old Billy must have been to either decide, or be persuaded, to venture into this area of certain failure. Bless!

Billy Idol is a legend, even at Christmas. What we have here is a jovial, laid back set of Christmas classics performed with Billy's trademark tongue-in-cheek good humour and unmistakable vocals. You get the feeling that he has all the best intentions with this release and simply wants to entertain everyone as only he can at Christmas. Highly recommended festive fun!

This album isn't great, it's Billy Idol turning into Val Doonican and just doesn't work. However, I've easily got good value out of it in shocking fellow 40 somethings that this album even exists. Think of it as an anti-gift for Christmas, it will bring joy and laughter but you won't be laughing _with_ it.

just when i thought Billy Idol was back with a bang with Devil's Playground now he has ruined it by making a xmas tribute album that does not sound too out of place if it was aired in a pub on a karoeke machine.
a lot of guys his age are still pushing forward with their bands churning out good records for their fans instead of sipping champagne and producing lame returns for their loyal legions of fans to listen to with poor returns in fortunes.
