Its been said that Big Country has some profound lyrics so it seemed to me why not start a thread for that. So, if you have a song in mind, why not post the lyrics along with some comentary as to why they strike you?

my favourite lyric is "some days will stay a thousand years ,some pass like the flash of a spark ,who knws where all our days go".................going to see them at the a.b.c in glasgow on the 30th of december......should be brilliant again..

Have downloaded and listened. The music helps give context to the lyrics. I call these types of songs (for lack of a better description) thinking songs, meaning that you cant help but turn off your other senses; your left with mind and ears and your no longer whereever you were but somewhere else. Very good I thought.
