This is the best Bee Gees compilation released as it has all but 6 of the band's U.K+U.S single's from 1966-1990.For some strange and annoying reason, the compiler's have excluded the single's "Spicks And Specks",from 1966(here in live form only),"Spirit's Having Flown"from 1979,the classic's "Living Eyes" and "Paradise"from 1981,"Crazy For Your love",from 1987,and"Bodyguard",from 1989,which would have made this awesome collection complete and a 5 star rating.Instead of these single's,a live section is unecessarily included on disc 4,which although is excellent, would have been better as a live cd in it's own right. There are several of the band's solo single's included but strangely and annoyingly again, another exclusion is here "August October",Robin's No.45 charter in 1970.Other inclusion's are several b-side's/l.p track's and previously unreleased material plus photo's+note's from the band by each song. This talent is pure genius so buy it now!!!.

There is nothing more to say about this classic compilation than, "Good Job, Mates!" The collection is nearly completely exhaustive. It does mark some interesting historical moments. On the cassette box set, the listener is treated to three Barry Gibb songs from his "Hawks" album, not included on the CD set. True to the CD cover notes, nearly all singles, B-sides and rare songs are included. But, and this is a big one; "Living Eyes" is the only single in the trios history to be neglected. This single marked a noticably change in their music style, not to mention being a beautiful ballad. What happened? Bill Levenson of Polydor had included it in the set for quite a while until the Brothers changed the songlist at the last minute. Although the fourth disc contains some wonderful 'live' recordings, wouldn't it be nice to fill the 'more than adequate' space with some more of the Gibbs' solo singles? "Shine Shine", "Boys Do Fall In Love", "Fine Line", "Like A Fool" and "Childhood Days" all could have made this last disc 100% more interesting. So I guess one will just have to sit back and appreciate the rest of this great gift the Bee Gees gave the World.

The Bee Gees, a group in history and today, this box, has 4 cd's all with the most wonderfull songs of the Bee Gees. There's a booklet inside, with lots of information from the Brothers, and pictures. Wether you like the BG in the early days or in the more recents ones, they are still the best around, you are never bored. And you will even discover some of the not so popular songs, you will like them all. Tales from the brother Gibb, is all what it says, from the really early days till the box came out.
