This CD contains four hit singles, although the only one to chart in the USA was "Paying The Price Of Love", a fair, but unsuccessful attempt at 'hip-hop'. No matter. The rest of the album is wonderful. "Kiss Of Life" has an upbeat tempo with a killer chorus, while "How To Fall In Love, Part I" contains some of Barry's most soulful singing. Robin matches this soulfulness with his own on "Heart Like Mine". "Blue Island", a beautifully harmonized ballad dedicated to the children of Bosnia, has an amazing harmonica solo; unusual for the Gibbs. The remaining songs are all high tempo, especially "Above And Beyond" and "Fallen Angel", the latter being one of the Gibbs most danceable songs to date. The big sleeper here is, "For Whom The Bell Tolls", a romantic power ballad that should have been a big hit.If you buy the IMPORT, you'll receive "Decadance", a high-tech remix of "You Should Be Dancing". It's worth the search. If you are very lucky, you may be one of the few to find a 'hidden track' - another version of "Decadance" not listed on the cover notes!

This Brothers Gibb album was first released in September 1993 where it entered the UK album charts and achieved its highest chart position of No. 23. It remained on the chart for 13 weeks in total. With a running time of over 55 minutes, the album features a greater measure of musical flexibility on this recording that there was on their previous album - High Civilisation.Three of the album's twelve tracks were released as CD-single releases. The opening track 'Pay The Price Of Love' reached No. 23; 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' reached No. 4 and 'How To Fall In Love' reached No. 30. Other highlights on the album include 'Kiss Of Life' & the Chain Reaction-like 'Above And Beyond'. The second of those titles is one of three tracks on the album which feature the late and sadly missed Maurice Gibb on lead vocals. The closing track 'Decadance' is a re-recording of their 70's smash hit 'You Should Be Dancing' but not as good as the original recording. All twelve tracks were written together by Barry, Robin & Maurice and they are also credited with producing the album as well.In early 1994, the group were making plans to promote Size Isn't Everything by organising a tour. Unfortunately this had to be cancelled at the last minute after Barry came down with back pains brought on by arthritis. The Bee Gees released just 3 studio albums during the 1990's. If you wish to have only one of them in your music collection, then Size Isn't Everything is the one to acquire. Order it today and experience the Gibb Brothers musical magic.

Once again the Bee Gees prove that they can still mix it with the best of modern acts with yet another brilliant album, arguably one of their best. This has a rich mix of slow moving love songs, to rousing pop music. For Whom the Bells Toll has to be one of the Bee Gees' best songs ever. It is amazing to hear them come up with new tunes all of the time. Fallen Angel is also an excellent pop track, showing the diversity that the Bee Gees can have. Forget the Beatles. The Bee Gees are the best group of all time. And this proves it. What is the betting that they release another brilliant album to take them into the 21st Century.

This album is worth buying just for the superb ballad, 'For Whom The Bell Tolls'! This song, in my opinion is the band's best ever song! They haven't lost any of their talent and probably never will do!
