Introducing...
Bat For Lashes is a one woman act and that woman is the beautiful Natasha Khan. This isn’t just a one woman show though, her live line-up varies during tours; currently she’s got Ash’s Charlotte Hatherly coming along for the ride.
Bat For Lashes had success with debut album Fur and Gold in 2007, which won a ASCAP Vanguard Award, was nominated for a Mercury Award and gained her two BRIT nominations. However she lost out to Klaxons at the Mercurys, who won with their album Myths of the Near Future.
Not to be deterred, she’s back with her new album Two Suns, which promises to be "a record of modern-day fables exploring dualities on a number of levels – two lovers, two planets, two sides of a personality." Want to give it a whirl? The whole album is available to be streamed on last.fm

Beautiful and ethereal, Bat for Lashes will have you stopping in your tracks for a listen. Recently featured as Geoff’s Song of The Week on the Hometime Show, her current single 'Daniel' sounds a bit Kate Bush-esque with a dash of Tori Amos for good measure. This is no bad thing, her music stands out a mile from the regular run-of-the-mill rock and indie artists and proves, once again, the immense musical talent that’s coming from the UK at the moment.
