CD1 is 'Live In Moscow', an exciting and beautifully recorded concert. However, Eagle Rock offers a CD/DVD set that documents the Moscow shows from 1990 and so I would recommend that instead.
CD2 is 'Live in Massachusetts', a very tatty sounding bootleg and therefore best avoided. Not even the biggest Asia fan in the world needs to hear this awful recording.
The discs are packaged in a cardboard case but the artwork does not exactly scream Asia; I admit, I do not know the origin of the bizzare, balding redhead on the cover but I doubt it was the work of Asia's regular cover artists, latterly Rodney Matthews (originally Roger Dean). If it is, I apologise for my ignorance in advance but the artwork remains anonymous, whereas regular Asia albums are distincive. Were the legend 'Asia' absent from the album cover, one would simply never guess this was the work of Asia!
The liner notes detail Asia's creation and the respective musical histories of the four founding members. Wetton of King Crimson! Palmer of ELP! Howe of Yes! And Downes of... ermmm... The Buggles! Pat Thrall however, who replaced Steve Howe for the Moscow concerts, is not mentioned anywhere.
To summarise, not a bad set but the Massachusetts concert sounds terrible and the Moscow show is presented better elsewhere.
