In a career that has spanned over 25 years, Annie Lennox has achieved over 78 million in global sales with 33 hit singles, 4 Grammies, 11 BRITS, 5 Ivor Novellos, the Oscar, and 2 Golden Globes amongst other accolades. She will release her fourth solo album, Songs Of Mass Destruction, on October 2nd through Arista Records.
Working with veteran producer Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill"), Songs Of Mass Destruction showcases an artist who is unafraid of pushing boundaries and challenging herself.
Annie says that this album is the closest she's been so far to that authentically raw and emotional place, infused with the contrasts of beauty, yearning and sadness.
