We're really sorry but there's a flash movie here. It was: Time To Change

Finding love and sharing a home are two basic areas of life that affect us all and can be difficult enough to navigate at the best of times. But what happens when you also have a
mental illness and face prejudice every day?

We asked seven people with real experience of mental health problems to place ads on dating and flatshare sites – including Erik, the star of our film "Don't get me wrong". First they placed the ads without mentioning their mental health problem. Then they placed the exact same ad but did mention their mental health problem.

So what happened?

There was a big drop in interest - only half as many people were interested in a date and there was two-thirds less interest in living with them.

With one in four of us having a mental health problem at some stage of our lives, that’s a lot of people to write off as a potential partner or flatmate. And remember, that also includes hotties like Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue, Russell Brand and Robbie Williams – celebs who have all opened up about a mental health problem and who many of us would never dream of turning down for a date.

Make your pledge to help end mental health prejudice today.
