You Me At Six in The Absolute Radio Sessions
The final band in session in 2011 were You Me At Six. The exclusive gig took place at Hard Rock London.
We gave listener Tom the chance to be our Hard Rock VIP, and here’s his review of the event:
When You Me At Six came onto the stage, you could instantly tell that it was going to be an amazing show, and it was... The crowd already buzzing from the fact they are at the Hard Rock's 40th birthday when the band came on everyone got even more buzzed. Performing songs from all three of their albums, but mainly sticking to the most recent album which is one of the best albums of the year, so no-one minded.
As a band they interacted with the audience brilliantly and make the audience feel relaxed and enjoy the show as best they could. As for the hospitality of the Hard Rock staff and venue, they couldn't be any better, constantly walking round handing out snacks, having a chat with you, and answering any questions that you may have. And all of this wouldn't have been possible without Absolute Radio, who I could not give enough thanks too. So all in all the night was amazing, You Me At Six were outstanding and the venue and staff were just as good. a defiant 10/10.
