Scouting For Girls in The Absolute Radio Sessions
The third band in session in 2011 was
Scouting For Girls. The exclusive gig took place in March at Hard Rock London.
We gave one of our listeners the chance to be our Hard Rock VIP at the recent Scouting For Girls gig, and here’s the review of what Claire Charatan thought of the event:
A friend and I were both lucky enough to win a pair of tickets each to see Scouting For Girls, two other friends joined us and we went along to the Hard Rock Café. What an amazing night we had. The band were brilliant and belted out favourites like Heartbeat, Elvis Aint Dead and I Wish I Was James Bond, and an awesome cover of Live and Let Die but also new tracks from Everybody Wants to be on TV. The atmosphere was fantastic and the crowd were going crazy for new tracks such as Posh Girls, Little Miss Naughty and their new track “This A’int a love song which is clearly going to be a huge hit. They finished with the old favourite…. Shes so Lovely, and then they left us wanting more.
Thanks to Absolute Radio and Hard Rock Café for a fabulous night and I am sure everyone that attended enjoyed it as much as we did and cannot wait for the new album and to see more of Scouting For Girls in the future.
