Editors in The Absolute Radio Sessions
The first band in session in 2011 was
Editors. The exclusive gig took place on the 25 January at Hard Rock London.
We gave one of our listeners the chance to be our Hard Rock VIP at the recent Editors gig, and here’s the review of what Chris Bell thought of the event:
Editors played the first of this year’s round of Hard Rock Cafe gigs, and what a night it was. Coming on stage to much anticipation from the crowd, they kicked off a rare acoustic set. Playing songs from the predominantly guitar led first two albums, and mixing this with new songs from their 3rd, In The Light And On This Evening, the night was a huge success. Standout songs like Smokers Outside the Hospital doors, last single Papillion and new single You don’t know Love, had the crowd ecstatic.
Finishing with a blistering version of Fingers in the Factories, Editors short set came to a close. Thanks Absolute Radio, Hard Rock Cafe and of course, Editors.
