The Three Valleys
The Three Valleys is a ski area which is comprised of some of the greatest resorts in France, including
Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-Les-Bains, Les Menuires –
St Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens and Orelle, all linked together by ski runs and ski lifts, with 600 kms of interconnected slopes and 180 ski lifts! Whether it is the chic boutiques and nightspots of Courchevel and Meribel or the more traditional Savoyarde villages of St Martin de Belleville and Bride-les-Bains, the door-step skiing at La Tania or the newly expanded snowpark at Val Thorens, there really is something for everyone in the Three Valleys.
Fernie
Fernie is a perfect ski area for all levels of skier or boarder and is renowned for its excellent natural snow conditions, record snow levels and 'steep and deep' terrain. The uncrowded slopes make it an ideal environment for families and first time skiers. The alpine resort at the base of the mountain is home to an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and shops, whilst the historic mining town of Fernie with its relaxed, laid back and friendly atmosphere is 5 kilometres from the ski area, connected by a regular bus service.
