Les Menuires has just invested €4.2 million to replace its infamous Reberty bucket lift (built in 1983) with the Reberty 2000, a 6-seater chairlift which transports up to 2,600 people per hour.

Not only famed for its skiing, the Savoyard region's food can form a major part of your holiday too.

If you’re eating out try Le K - a fusion between modernism and Savoyard tradition. It opens onto the pistes for lunch for a real treat. The chef David Archinard uses flavours of the Alps and local Savoyard produce aplenty.
