Best Image Selection mode captures a high speed sequence of shots and then automatically selects the best one, while Super Slow Motion Movie can capture action at high frame rate – so you can analyse the fine motions of fast moving action.

The IXUS 1000 HS also features Smart Auto mode to make shooting effortless by automatically selecting the appropriate camera settings from detecting your shooting conditions and it is the first ever IXUS to capture stunning Full HD movies (1080p@ 24fps) with stereo sound.
