Stand Up For Freedom 2009

While Frank's in Edinburgh for three weeks, he will be broadcasting his Absolute Radio show live from the city.

The Edinburgh Festival is the biggest arts event in the world. Each year, Amnesty is right at the heart of it with a programme of comedy, exhibitions, discussions and campaign actions.

Amnesty At The FestivalAmnesty's At the Festival programme gives festival-goers simple ways to help fight for justice - from buying tickets for comedy events to taking action for the nominated Festival prisoner of conscience, it makes standing up for human rights easy, enjoyable and effective.

There are going to be two At the Festival comedy events, on Wednesday 12 August and Wednesday 19 August.

The Line-ups

Wednesday 12 August will be compered by Andrew Maxwell and will feature Colin & Fergus, Rob Rouse, Richard Herring and Janey Godley.

Wednesday 19 August will be compered by John Bishop and will feature Simon Amstell, Phil Nichol and Sarah Millican.
