and then..... it all kicked off!!!

Great bits from you again today.  We started by talking about competitive parents.  My Mum has spent the last 5 months whilst my brother is travelling, trying to beat his germbuster score on the DS.  Every day she's tried and finally she has her rightful place on the leaderboard for his return.  Honestly though, was it worth every day, the sweat, the palpitations and the almost certain sleepless nights!  You as parents and indeed your own parents appear to be just as bad!  This text I think says it all.
 
"I'm not a parent but when I play a game with a child my ego won't let me lose to an 8 year old. So I always end up cheating or distracting them so that I can have another turn.  My motto is if they are too dumb to know that I'm cheating then they don't deserve to win.  Peter".
 
Good return to Sunday Sinners too for 2009. Stories from -i didn't like my Christmas present so re-wrapped it for my father in law to dropping food shopping and blaming the store, so getting full replacements.. to the eventual winner. A lady who went to visit her cousin, got introduced to a younger man who her cousin fancied, and then ended up with him! She still hasn't told her cousin and she hasn't confessed to this 24 year old that she's 12 years older than him!

I use the word "texted" and unfortunately it appears this is not a real word!!  Oh the amount of you who "texted" in agreeing and disagreeing and checking on the net for the correct word to use....  the debate continues.  Surely we can't all be right!
