Graeme Smith

Ex pat scouser Graeme presented his first radio show aged 14 next door to the mortuary at the Royal Hospital in Liverpool and got fired from his first few jobs.

His first professional radio job was whilst he was still in sixth form. Since then he has worked on some of the UK's biggest stations - including the Galaxy Network, Kerrang and XFM London.

He went to Manchester University to start a degree in Politics and History that he never finished. In fact he only really saw out the first term - he left to watch daytime TV and do a drivetime show in Yorkshire. He's lived in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and now South London. But still feels like Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester are more like home.

He went to a posh school in Liverpool and was teased mercilessly about being a choir boy as a kid. Unfortunately all the names they called him turned out to be true. Children can be so cruel... and perceptive.

Now he's at One Golden Square and working for the US owned TV network Current as a host for their cable and satellite channel in the UK. The moment of his career he isn't so proud of include providing the voiceover for the most annoying advert of the year 2005. It involved a Frog.
