Live at V Festival 2008
The Twang played in the JJB Arena at the Virgin Mobile V Festival 2008
Live review
After the long slog around the site to the JJB Arena we find that The Twang come onstage late. You might remember from their very memorable Zoo Session that the Brummies are rather fond of their booze, giving them a lager-swilling lad band reputation.
That doesn't, however, make The Twang any less fun. Especially at a festival, where they're really
in their element, effing and blinding their way through.
The JJB might not be particularly busy at the start, due to the distance from the other, larger stages but that just means that everyone in here really wants to be here and they show just how much.
As soon as the first notes are played, people come flooding in from the surrounding pastures, making the set a triumphant occasion watched by revellers from far and wide.
The Twang know how to put on a great show and people at V know exactly how to enjoy it.
