If you've been hearing a tasty tune that reminds you of The Beatles and The Beach Boys then you might have taken note of 'Nine In The Afternoon' by
Panic At The Disco.
Taken from their second album,
Pretty. Odd., the song is a super-catchy little ditty that takes a psychedelic '60s sound and adds brass, strings and piano to fill it out into a masterpiece.

Panic! At The Disco were formed in Las Vegas in 2005 by childhood friends, guitarist and songwriter Ryan Ross and drummer Spencer Smith who then met singer Brendon Urie at school. Bassist jon Walker joined later.
The quartet burst out of their hometown later that year with their debut album,
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, which went on to shift a staggering 2.2 million copies worldwide.
They released that album on Pete Wentz from
Fall Out Boy's record label, Decaydance after Wentz travelled all the way from Chicago to Las Vegas to see them perform in their garage, all because he liked their music so much.
The quintet built their reputation with a stunning live show that incorporated an elaborate stage setup alongside their great songs. Burlesque dancers and circus acts regularly performed alongside the band.
They backed the theatrics up with their equally elaborate videos. Hit anthem,
'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' win Best Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2006 and judging by the new clip, they seem to be trying harder than ever to make great videos.
For this album campaign, they sparked a furore amongst their notoriously hardcore fanbase by dropping the exclamation mark in their name.
Even though their first album sold so many copies, even more is expected from
Pretty. Odd. as Panic At The Disco aim to break through into the mainstream and conquer the world.
