Mumm-Ra’s perfectly annunciated lyrics and lively guitar riffs had the audience jumping and cheering from the beginning, especially to ‘Jeremy’ and ‘She’s Got You High’, a tune that had the crowd animatedly chanting and clapping along to the chorus.
It was a little disappointing (though not surprising) there was no reference to their namesake, maybe they could have performed an ‘ironic’ rendition of the legendary Thundercats theme tune, in their own good-looking, clean-hair, rock-pop style? Nevertheless, their foot-on-the-speaker songs kept the crowd lively throughout their short set.
