Introducing...
Kitty, Daisy and Lewis are a 3-piece band made up of multi-talented siblings. With an average age of 16, you may expect some weepy emo ballads and too much eyeliner, but you'd be wrong.
We reckon they're going to hit the big time in 2009, their music is an irresistible and upbeat mixture of Country, Blues, Rockabilly and 50s R&B. Just the tonic for the gloomy times that we're facing at the moment!
Want to have a listen to some of their toe-tapping ditties? Check out the two songs they played for Absolute Radio recently, 'Hold Me Tight' and 'Going up the Country.' And you'll want to check out their self-titled debut album, which is out now.
Not content with bashing out some ace tunes, the members are highly accomplished multi-instrumentalists, playing guitar, piano, banjo, lapsteel guitar, harmonica, double bass, ukulele, drums, trombone, xylophone and accordion between them.
They also get support from their parents Ingrid and Graeme, both music industry veterans who lend a hand at live gigs, playing guitar and double-bass. And there's not a shade of the Von Trapps about this band, they are far too brilliant!
We'll leave you with the video for 'Going Up The Country' - a track recorded by the band in their own home-made studio. We're not jealous, oh no, not at all...
