Ian Gillan

Zoo Session

We were very lucky to play host to Ian Gillan, the legend who has sang with Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, as well as with his own group The Ian Gillan Band. He is well-regarded as a solo artist in his own right and his album One Eye To Morocco is out now.

We recorded four songs, live and acoustic, in the Absolute Radio Zoo. Check out the session below which includes 'Change My Ways' and 'Better Days' from his solo album One Eye To Morocco, along with 'Black Night' and 'When A Blind Man Cries' by Deep Purple. This is the first time that that 'Black Night' has been performed acoustic and unplugged so it's well worth a watch!
