Hoobastank biography

On December 8, 2009, Hoobastank released a live album Live from the Wiltern available exclusively through iTunes.

On January 19, 2010, Hoobastank released a new song entitled "We Are One" as part of a compilation from Music for Relief in support of the Haiti Earthquake crisis.

On February 12, 2010, Hoobastank released a new song entitled "Never Be Here Again" as part of the Team USA Olympics soundtrack.

In May 2010, the band announced that they will be performing an acoustic live tour at several places in Japan. And in June 2010, they announced that will they be releasing an acoustic album entitled Is This the Day? in August. It was released on August 4, 2010 in Japan, but has yet to be released in the United States.

Fight or Flight (2011-present)

Doug Robb provided vocals for Apocalyptica's new single release "Not Strong Enough ft Doug Robb" on January 18, 2011.

On February 15, 2011, Doug announced on Twitter that there is a new album being released, although no timeframe was offered.

In June 2011, the band went on tour in Iraq for the USO Road Tour performing for the U.S. military throughout the country.

On April 5, 2012, the band announced on Twitter that the new album's name is to be titled Fight or Flight. On May 3, 2012 the band revealed the first single "This Is Gonna Hurt" at http://thisisgonnahurt.hoobastank.com/.
