V Festival 2007

Ghosts’ V Festival set was intriguing as they played their Cure’s ‘Disintegration’ style melancholic guitar sound alongside a backdrop of upbeat contemporary indie-pop riffs. ‘Stay The Night’ was a crowd-pleaser, during which the previously empty corners of the Virgin Mobile Union Tent filled out, though the chorus of their track ‘Further And Further Away’ started sounding more and more like ‘I’m Burger Away’… maybe the festival vibe had gone a bit too far and the lyrics that were heard were translating in to smells?



Either way it was good to see another up-coming London band perform live, and get an idea of what they’re about.
