V Festival 2007
As soon as they stepped on stage, Cherry Ghost seemed to be concerned with getting the job of performing their 25 minutes over and done with, a premature hunch that was later confirmed. The precise recitals of their songs were entertaining enough to listen to, but weren’t gripping enough for the audience; the result was an equally unlively crowd who joined in singing along to their single ‘People Help The People’, but soon began to dwindle.
All in all it wasn’t a particularly riveting performance from the Brit indie-rock band. Though they sounded good, the performance was all too clinical and over-prepared, even their occasional 15-second rock-out, they ended their set with their single ‘Mathematics’ and Cherry Ghost exited the stage as swiftly as they had begun their set.
