Listening stats and Research
They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and the same applies to what we do.
This section will always show you the very latest results for our on-air listenership (RAJAR) and our online live listening hours as well as any bespoke research we conduct.
RAJAR
This data is compiled from a panel of several thousand participants (selected by Ipsos) who fill in a weekly listening diary recording all radio activity over the 7 day period including stations exposed to and the amount of time each is listened to for.

Over the coming months we hope to provide greater insight into how our listeners hear our output online. Gathering these statistics isn’t easy, since we do it in a variety of formats, and listening can come from multiple computers or intenet radio devices. Furthermore, cookies can be removed from PCs.
Absolute Radio is working hard to ensure that we provide consistent figures with others across the industry.
