Hello.
If you’d like a copy of our latest RAJAR booklet, which showcases results from across the industry, then let me know and I’ll send you a copy.
Our decade station strategy is working hard for us, and we’re in fine shape. So I’m thrilled to announce news of the imminent launch of
two more stations, and welcome back two wonderful presenters back to the Absolute Radio family:
- Absolute Radio 60s, which promises to be the new home of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Motown – led by the unique talent of Pete Mitchell, one of the most knowledgeable and passionate music aficionados I’ll ever have the pleasure of working with
- Absolute Radio 70s, which will be the UK’s only 70s station, celebrating the melting pot of work from Abba to Bob Marley, Elton John to Rod Stewart, and Pink Floyd to David Bowie. And the station will be fronted by the legendary Richard Skinner!
These are hugely exciting launches for us and, before they each go live on DAB from the end of November, they also allow us to broadcast their test transmission on the launch of
version 2 of our Radioplayer. We’ve pushed the boundaries of UK Radioplayer to the limits, and listeners have improved channel navigation, as well as enhanced supporting visual content, past track details, and ‘coming next’ info. Have a look for yourself, and
visit here for more info on the improvements we’ve made.
As always, there are ways we can help your brands benefit from all the above areas, so please
drop us a note or call us on 020 7432 3311 if you’d like to chat.
