For fifteen years, we’ve sat under the great red Virgin Radio star and had huge fun. Now, we're creeping out from under that star and putting a new name on what we’re doing. To go into all the background here would be more tedious for you than playing Westlife, but our new name will mean we can reinvent ourselves a bit – which we need to – and be freer to do more things.

“Advertising used to be about things. Now it is about conversations and relationships”Contagious Magazine, December 2007.
We may have a great new name, but our philosophy for doing business remains constant. We have a sales proposition called "Access All Areas" and we believe it has served our customers well, and should continue to do so. Here's why:
Commercial radio gets advertisers close to the action, embedded into the editorial in a way other media just cannot match. At Absolute, we take radio’s ability to create conversations and use it to build commercial relationships between advertiser and listener. We will get you closer to content and offer you greater engagement with our audience. Our ultimate ambition is to connect brands with our listeners and make them your customers.
We might be a national radio station, but we’re a small team. It means we're lighter on our feet. It means that producers and presenters get involved in ideas sessions for advertisers. It means our presenters know their sponsors. In fact, when it comes to life on air, the presenter may well be speaking the words he/she helped script.
Times change, but delivering bespoke commercial content for the benefit of our advertisers and listeners remains at the heart of what we do.
Talk is cheap of course. We have an archive of case studies that back up our Access All Areas sales proposition and we look forward to working with you and demonstrating what we can do for you and your business.
