Absolute Radio 105.8FM Public File
Note: The version of Absolute Radio carried on digital radio, digital television, the internet, and 1215AM is our national service, which has no requirement for a public file.
Absolute Radio 105.8FM in London, and each local commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech levels etc. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom, the UK's radio regulator. This Public File contains details of the elements that Ofcom regulate, such as music tracks, local news etc. It is intended to give you a better understanding of our output and what we are doing for our local community. It is relevant only to "Absolute Radio 105.8FM", our London service.

Formats

Operational information
Transmission: Absolute Radio 105.8FM is available on 105.8FM across London. It isn't on any other platform.
Automation: We do not automate our programming, and a presenter or producer is in live control of Absolute Radio 105.8FM in Golden Square 24 hours a day.
News Bulletin Schedule
Bulletins containing a mix of London, UK and world news together with sport, entertainment and weather information are compiled locally and broadcast from our Golden Square studios between 6am and 7pm weekdays, and between 8am and 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays. At relevant times additional news bulletins may be broadcast. Additional out-of-hours bulletins are syndicated and provided by Sky News.

Local travel information is broadcast between 6am-9am and 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday, and between 8am and 12pm on weekend mornings and from 5pm to 9pm on Sunday evenings.
